The Mountmellick Youth & Family Resource Centre (MYFRC) offers a range
of services aimed at engaging Young People in Youth Work developmental
programmes which extend into family support work, one-to-one support,
counselling and community based programmes. The MYFRC aims to
strengthen, and empower children, Young People, families and the
Mountmellick community. The MYFRC will adhere to and strive to
progress family and community development as outlined in the Better

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS;
* A minimum qualification of Level 7 in Social Care, Early Childhood
Education/ Development, Youth Work or other relevant discipline.
* Relevant experience in a similar setting
* An understanding of the National Family Resource Centre Programme
* Good knowledge and experience of best practice working with
children and young people and services available to families
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Highly motivated
* Flexible (hours and duties)
* Good teamwork skills
FURTHER DETAILS;

subject to change, rostered in advance and will generally be Monday to
Friday but may involve occasional weekend work
* The salary is Point 1 on the Family Resource Centre Salary Scale
